Only a Father (doc. short)

In 2013, Sadiq Abdallah Juma’s daughters left Norway to join ISIS in Syria. Determined to bring them home, he travels into the war zone, where he is captured by ISIS and accused of spying for Norwegian intelligence.

The film follows Juma over four years as he attempts to reunite his family, despite the choices his daughters have made.

Dishonored (doc. short)

In 2002, Mukhtar Mai was ordered raped by a tribal council in rural Pakistan as part of an “honor” punishment between two feuding clans.

Airborne Medics (doc. series)

In northern Afghanistan, Norwegian medical personnel operate under pressure to evacuate and treat the wounded. The series follows the Norwegian Aeromedical Detachment (NAD) in Meymaneh and their missions to stabilise and transport injured soldiers and civilians.

Forbidden Future (doc. short)

In the Islamic Republic of Iran, young people form underground communities around music, art and sport, operating outside the boundaries set by the authorities.

The film follows a group of artists navigating these spaces, where expression carries the risk of punishment, including arrest, flogging and imprisonment.

Land of the Free - Home of the Brave (doc. short)

In LAND OF THE FREE – HOME OF THE BRAVE, American Special Forces hunt terrorists in Afghanistan while operating undercover as local farmers. Shot in 2003, the film offers rare close access to soldiers navigating unfamiliar terrain, frustration and contradiction in the war on terror.

The documentary received the Amanda Award for Best Documentary at the Norwegian International Film Festival, and was later acquired by broadcasters including BBC, PBS and Discovery.
